IN ADDITION, ASI ALSO OFFERS OUR CLIENTS:

Consistent Management:  Under the same ownership and conservative guidance since its incorporation in 1979. ASI has successfully emerged in the environmental laboratory industry, not through acquisition or consolidation, but through growth in revenue based on a solid reputation.  ASI fosters long-term client relationships built on reliability and trust.

Technical Expertise:  As a diverse company, ASI’s strong technical personnel provide consultation, training, and expert witness in the validation and interpretation of analytical data.  Our experience is broad and comprehensive in environmental regulatory programs such as RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, UST and HSRA.  Project experience includes; wastewater, groundwater, and surface water contaminants, RCRA field investigations, coal tar constituents, and dry cleaning solvents and their degradation products.

Legally Defensible Data:  ASI’s enduring reputation has been earned through consistently providing our clients with legally defensible data.  ASI is committed to the use of good quality control (QC) procedures for all field and laboratory operations in order to insure both the analytical validity and the legal defensibility of all reported data.  Specific QC procedures are governed by strict adherence to the ASI Quality Assurance Program.

Client Service:  One of the keys to ASI’s success has been superior customer service.  Tracking each set of samples through the lab allows the project managers to know, at all stages of the analytical process, the status of each sample.  Critical information is then relayed to the client to keep them informed of any potential problems that they might face.  ASI’s client-specific project managers handle all client interaction and are easily accessible 24/7/365 with direct voice mail, e-mail, and cellular phone.

LIMS:  ASI utilizes its Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to track activities between the laboratory and client facilities.  The LIMS database includes, but is not limited to, the following client-specific project information:  project manager, project name, sample identification, sample description, and analytical parameters.  Project reports containing this information can be formatted to client-specific requirements and generated as needed (e.g. monthly, quarterly, etc.).  One of the important features of the LIMS is its ability to track samples through the laboratory from receipt to disposal.  This feature allows for a secure chain of custody for each sample is in house.

Electronic Data Deliverables:  Electronic data deliverables (EDD) are available in the following formats: dBase IV (file format), ASCII, Adobe PDF, and Microsoft Excel.  The following commercially available data systems are currently available: GIS Build, Monitor, EQuIS, and ERPIMS.

Field Services:  ASI’s Field Services team is comprised of OSHA 40-hour trained technicians.  Their capabilities include wastewater effluent monitoring (24-hour composite sampling), groundwater monitoring, and field support for various client projects located throughout the United States.

Sample Containers/Shipping:  Pre-labeled and pre-preserved sample containers are shipped via UPS Ground (or expedited shipping method, for an additional fee) to a client designated location.
