Analytical Data Package Options

Analytical Services, Inc (ASI) offers a basic menu of analytical data packages formatted to meet industry standardized reporting requirements with selected data quality objectives determined by the client. The data packages presented vary from the “ASI Level 1” which includes results, methods, chain of custody and data qualifiers, through “Level 4 CLP-Like” deliverables, which contain the information and raw data necessary for independent, third-party data validation. The most commonly used reporting package is our Level 2 format which includes all Level 1 information plus batch QC and detailed Case Narratives (if applicable). Please click on the link below to review our reporting format options.

Prior to project initiation, discuss with your ASI Project Manager the data quality objectives (DQO’s) and any regulatory requirements to be considered for project success.  The data package selection should be based upon the laboratory results successfully demonstrating that the data quality objectives for the project have been achieved. The level of reporting required for successfully demonstrating defensibility of DQO’s depends upon the acceptable level of uncertainty for the final use of data.  Please note that the level of data package you receive has no effect on the actual values reported for your samples.  All information needed for a full Level 4 package is generated and on file at the laboratory for each and every compliance sample analyzed, even if you request only a Level 1 report.

ASI utilizes a highly configurable software program known as Element DataSystem LIMS which is developed by Promium. This program handles all laboratory data management operations, including final report generation and electronic data deliverables. Element is exclusively used for all data retrieval, quantification and quality control monitoring of laboratory testing activities. All LIMS-generated client reports and EDDs are generated from a single output file for a selected work order or sample delivery group. Any regeneration of laboratory reports for any level of deliverables and EDD are created from this stored file.  An extensive list of commonly requested EDD formats is available along with a LIMS EDD Builder program that allows us to create custom, client specific formats quickly and completely.
